WHAT SETS WORTH A SHOT APART FROM OTHER FIREARM SCHOOLS?
From our staff to the way they teach, there are many things that make us unique. Two things you will notice upfront is the cost of our courses is well below our competitors. Second, is the vast amount of information we cover in each course.
Most firearm schools charge well over $100 per/hour and spend most of their time in a classroom without a gun in your hands. At Worth A Shot we wanted to make it affordable enough for family and friends to gain a valuable skill without breaking the bank and taking an entire week out of work. Come see for yourself

WHAT DO FIREARM COURSES CONSIST OF, DO THEY SIMPLY COVER HOW TO SHOOT?
Our students range from those who have never held a gun before all the way up to those who carry a gun for a living. Many students already know how to shoot, we teach you how to get the MOST out of your shooting. Its like comparing someone who already cooks on their journey to becoming a chef.

Not only do we teach you the techniques of how to become a better shot, but we have lectures designed to get you to think about all the other aspects that go along with using a firearm in a defensive scenario. In short knowing how to shoot and being a good aim is not enough when it comes to a life threatening scenario. This is the place to learn what most have never gave a second thought to.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you need to cancel a class more than thirty (30) days before your scheduled class date, you may cancel and request a refund of the purchase price.

Cancelation occurring 15-30 days before the start date of your course will be allotted a refund of 50% of the original purchase price.

Classes cannot be cancelled less than 2 weeks (14 days) before your scheduled class date and a refund WILL NOT be given. Exceptions to these policies may be made on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of the Business Director of Worth A Shot and must be put in writing. Worth A Shot reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
14-17 years of age may be registered for a class and MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian attending the same course. In addition we enforce a 1 parent to 1 child rule.

WHY ARE THE CLASSES 9 HOURS?
In short, we are teaching you a lot of new skills and we want them to stick. Doing so takes time. Most other schools that teach at this level offer classes 2-6 days long or longer. Our goal was to condense these classes into 1 day, so that you wouldn't have to take time off of work, saving you both time and money. This would allow you to skip the hotel and travel costs and still get the training you need.
