Service Description

PURPOSE: You have proved you know how to shoot in good conditions, but what if you get injured or something that would make conditions unideal? In this course we want to help you win a gun fight in the worst of conditions. This class is hard, but the skills you learn are so worth it! OUTLINE: We want to keep this portion a surprise... AMMO COUNT: 300 Rounds EQUIPTMENT LIST: -Firearm. pocket pistols, micro pistols, and sub-compact pistols ARE NOT ALLOWED due to size. -Holsters must be on the belt, outside the waistband hip holsters that correctly fit the weapon, completely cover the trigger guard, remain open when the weapon is removed, not allow the weapon to cover the shooter’s body, and cannot have a trigger guard retention device (such as the Blackhawk Serpa model and others). NO thigh rigs, cross-draw, etc. KYDEX HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -2-3 Magazines. If single stack magazine, we highly recommend at least 3 magazines. -Magazine pouch(s). Will be worn on belt on opposite side of firearm. -Electronic Hearing Protection. -Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses. -Clothing should be suitable for training in any weather, pants MUST have belt loops. A sturdy belt for holster and mag pouch to attach to. Closed toed shoes. Hat with brim. -Speed loader (optional) -Water bottle and sack lunch. PREREQUISITES: Completion of Advanced Tactical Handgun 301 or equivalent training. SCHEDULE: -7:30-8:00: Check in. Weapon and ammo inspection. If you are late, you will not be able to attend the remainder of the course due to safety precautions and will contacted to reschedule for another day. -8:00-12:00: Range activities -12:00-12:30: Lunch -12:30-1:00 : Lunch lecture. -1:00-4:00: Range activities

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a class more than 30 days before your scheduled class date, you may cancel and request a refund of the purchase price. Cancelation occurring 15-30 days before the start date of your course will be allotted a refund of 50% of the original purchase price. Classes cannot be cancelled less than 2 weeks (14 days) before your scheduled class date and a refund WILL NOT be given. Exceptions to these policies may be made on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of the Director of Worth A Shot and must be put in writing. Worth A Shot reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time.
